Good afternoon everyone,
Sorry that our plans for evening services in Holy Week didn’t start as we had intended yesterday. At 7am our six year old cat died in our arms and it stripped away the songs from inside us. Last night we prayed evening prayer as usual but without the camera and with a lot of tears.
Tonight and tomorrow we will be using a form of evening prayer with some Taizé chants. The order of service is here for download.
The service itself is over on our YouTube channel. If you have a candle and some matches, it would be good to have it to light at the right point in the service.
Ruth and I are going to be trying to lead us all in chant live. Hopefully it is all going to work. If not, we will all have fun trying our best and failing.
