It can be a daunting experience to plan a wedding. You love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together but how exactly do you go about that? You may have already made the decision that you would like to get married but how would you like your wedding day to look and feel? It can seem like stepping into the great unknown!

If you live in Mixenden and Illingworth parish or have a connection with the church you are more than welcome to get married here. We can help you to plan your big day here in the heart of the community of Mixenden and Illingworth.

On the 7th of September, why not come along to Holy Nativity and have a look for yourself? The church will be set out as if for a wedding and you can meet some of the people who will help you to plan the day if you decide that you would like a church wedding. Revd Robb, the vicar will be there to answer any questions you may have about making your vows in the presence of God and Sue will be there to help with any practical issues you may want to discuss. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to see for yourself what a church wedding could be like at Holy Nativity.
